REVIEW: The Mozart Prague

    PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

From the first moment we walked through the cobbled streets of Prague, we realized that this was one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. For our visit to the capital of the Czech Republic we stayed at The Mozart Prague hotel, which was an incredible choice due to its enviable location and excellent quality.

When we found this historic hotel, the first thing that caught our attention was its name, and the incredible story behind it even more so. The hotel, formerly the Pachtuv Palace, was regularly visited by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his wife Constanze during their visits to the city. The Austrian composer was inspired and composed some of his musical pieces during his stays at the old Pachtuv Palace in the last years of his life.

The location of this luxurious 5-star hotel is amazing: in the heart of the Old City. Alongside of the Vltava River, it has more than enviable views of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Moreover, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the Prague Astronomical Clock or the Jewish Quarter. There is no doubt that this is the perfect place for your getaway to the Czech capital, it is just a few minutes away from everything! It is in the heart of the city, so it has all kinds of restaurants, shops, and museums within a few minutes’ walk.

Once we arrived at the hotel in a journey of just 30 minutes by taxi from the airport, we were able to realize the magic and history hidden in the walls of this historic building. It was formerly known as Pachtuv Palace, which was built in the 18th century, and features two incredible baroque-style inner courtyards. Some of the hotel rooms overlook these courtyards, and with the lighting of the night they look amazing!

The friendly and hospitable staff directed us to what would be our room during our stay at the hotel: one of the amazing Deluxe rooms overlooking the river. Very spacious and spacious and perfectly equipped, the best thing about the room was the incredible views of the Vltava River, the Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. The room has a comfortable and large King bed, a cozy sofa, and a dressing table, all in a classic decoration in line with the historic style of the hotel. Enjoying the views from the window at times like the sunset or at night with the lighting of the buildings are images that we will never forget! In addition, given the location and design of the hotel with its interior countyards, it is the best place to rest, as you will sleep very peacefully.

In the morning you will have the opportunity to have breakfast either in the hotel’s indoor restaurant, or in one of the magical courtyards of the historic building. With an assortment of pastries, fruits and other delicacies, there is no better way to prepare to explore Prague during the day than with this delicious breakfast!

Visiting the capital of the Czech Republic is a must during your trip to Europe. Be enchanted by the magic of the Old Town, take a boat ride on the Vltava River or go up to Prague Castle to enjoy the views of the city. And, without a doubt, the best starting point for your trip to this incredible city is The Mozart Prague Hotel!
